NCT WISH has arrived with their third mini-album COLOR, a bold and confident statement from SM Entertainment’s youngest and final NCT unit. Released today (Sept. 1), the seven-track record positions the rookie group as one of K-pop’s most exciting rising acts, blending fresh Gen Z sensibility with the polished, experimental edge that defines the NCT brand. Since their debut in February 2024, members SION, RIKU, YUSHI, JAEHEE, RYO, and SAKUYA have carved a fast-rising path in Korea and Japan, stacking Top 10 chart entries and winning fans with their youthful energy, playful personality, and sharp live performances. Now, with COLOR, they show a deeper musical range and stronger group identity, offering tracks that move easily between bright electro-pop, smooth R&B, and hip-hop-driven energy.
The album’s title track, “COLOR”, is a shimmering electro-pop anthem built on bold synth layers, jazzy chord progressions, and rhythmic twists that make the chorus instantly addictive. Notably, “WICHU” samples Chris Brown’s “With You.”
