RIIZE has officially launched its next chapter. On Monday (June 15), the rising K-pop group released its second mini album II, accompanied by the music video for the project’s lead single, “Do your dance,” marking the group’s first major release of 2026.
Arriving through SM Entertainment and RCA Records, II consists of six tracks and represents what the group describes as its most authentic statement yet. Now entering its fourth year since debut, RIIZE continues to build on its “Rise & Realize” identity, while introducing a new concept centered around personal growth through action rather than perfection.
The album’s central theme revolves around trusting instinct, embracing uncertainty, and learning through experience. According to the group, II reflects the philosophy of “Rise to Realize,” suggesting that self-discovery comes from moving forward instead of waiting for ideal circumstances.
Leading the project is “Do your dance,” an energetic dance-pop anthem designed around RIIZE’s strongest asset: performance. Driven by vibrant production and an infectious chorus, the track celebrates individuality and confidence, encouraging listeners to let go of self-doubt and enjoy the moment.
One of the song’s defining moments arrives through its catchy “Head, hips, shoulders, toes” refrain. RIIZE explained that the song’s message centers on enjoying life without obsessing over perfection, emphasizing that confidence comes from participation rather than flawless execution.
The accompanying music video doubles down on that message. Directed by longtime collaborator Jinuya, who previously helmed visuals for “Siren,” “Memories,” “Get A Guitar,” and “Impossible,” the clip highlights the group’s precision, charisma, and synchronization.
Beyond its title track, II explores multiple sides of RIIZE’s musical identity. Opener “SOAR” sets an uplifting tone, while “D-D-Done,” “Overdrive,” “Like a Bomb,” and “In a Loop” further expand the project’s sonic palette. Together, the six songs form a concise but cohesive collection that balances youthful energy with growing artistic confidence.
