After more than a decade as the heart of 5 Seconds of Summer’s rhythm section, Calum Hood is stepping into a new chapter—this time as a solo artist. His debut album, Order Chaos Order, arrives today, June 13, via Capitol Records, marking a deeply personal transition in his musical career. The 10-track project introduces fans to a side of Hood they haven’t heard before—vulnerable, reflective, and sonically distinct from the high-energy pop-rock sound that defined his years with 5SOS.

Where 5SOS leaned into anthem-sized choruses and stadium-ready hooks, Order Chaos Order moves inward. It explores the balance between inner peace and emotional turbulence, an idea Hood describes as “the push and pull between calm and disorder.” The album touches on themes of identity, memory, and growing up—both in and out of the spotlight.

With Order Chaos Order, Calum Hood steps confidently into his own light. Here is our ranking of all 10 tracks from the album.
