After several delays, Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s “Vultures 2” is finally out. Released independently by the YZY brand, the album serves as the second installment of a trilogy the two rappers started earlier this year under the moniker ¥$. The first act, “Vultures 1,” dropped in February and achieved massive success, reaching the top of the Billboard 200.
Shortly after “Vultures 1” was released, Kanye and Ty Dolla Sign began teasing “Vultures 2,” originally slated for release on May 3rd. However, the album’s release was delayed. “We got all the songs. Basically, it’s just like, ‘How can we get it there? How can we go bigger than the first album?’” Ty Dolla Sign told Billboard. Kanye later announced a new release date of August 2nd, but the album faced another short delay of 24 hours.
