Lil Tecca is back with Dopamine, his fifth studio album, released June 13, 2025. The new project arrives as a follow-up to 2022’s Plan A and marks another step forward in Tecca’s career—from breakout teen rapper to one of the most consistent voices in melodic hip-hop. With 17 tracks and no major guest features, Dopamine is a solo statement, rooted in Tecca’s personal growth, mental health journey, and signature sound.

First teased back in January via cryptic tweets and Instagram stories, Tecca described the project as something he needed to make while focusing on his well-being. “Had to get my health right,” he wrote, adding, “we creatin.” The first single, “Dark Thoughts,” dropped in March, quickly catching fire online for its introspective tone and smooth production. Then came the high-energy banger “OWA OWA” in late May, with a viral video teaser that got fans even more hyped for the full album.

By early June, Tecca had unveiled the cover art and full tracklist—confirming Dopamine would drop June 13. Now that it’s here, the album delivers a mix of moody, atmospheric cuts and upbeat summer-ready tracks, with lyrics touching on fame, isolation, and emotional highs and lows. So, how do the songs stack up? We listened closely and ranked all 17 tracks on Dopamine.
