After teasing it in the last few weeks, Olivia Rodrigo has finally unleashed the deluxe edition of her sophomore album “Guts.” The “Spilled” edition was announced just a few days ago during her Chicago show for the Guts World Tour. This new edition features five previously unreleased songs, four of which were included in a vinyl-exclusive release in November 2023. The new track “Obsessed” has been released as an official single along with the accompanying music video. Olivia revealed that this song was recorded nearly three years ago with her longtime producer Dan Nigro and St. Vincent. “It’s always been one of my favorites,” she expressed. She also shared her satisfaction with the other songs, particularly “So American,” naming it her favorite.
Carried by the success of “Vampire,” “Bad Idea Right?” and “Get Him Back,” “Guts” was a massive success, earning Olivia two Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year. In support of the album, Olivia embarked on the Guts World Tour, with the next show scheduled for tonight at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
