LISA, Anitta, and Rema have officially released “Goals,” the new FIFA World Cup 2026 anthem, arriving May 21, 2026 as part of the tournament’s official soundtrack rollout. The high-energy collaboration brings together three of the most globally dominant pop forces from Asia, Latin America, and Africa, positioning the track as a cross-continental stadium record built for the world’s biggest sporting stage.
The release follows weeks of anticipation after the song was first registered on ASCAP in March 2026, crediting LISA, Anitta, Rema, production duo Tropkillaz, and FIFA itself. Momentum escalated further on May 19, when a teaser video surfaced across social platforms, blending street football imagery, choreography, and rapid-cut performance shots that immediately sparked global fan reaction.
“Goals” arrives not just as a standalone single but as a centerpiece of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Official Album, expanding the tournament’s tradition of pairing global pop stars with its cultural identity. LISA, Anitta, and Rema are also confirmed to headline the World Cup Opening Ceremony on June 12 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, sharing the stage with artists including Katy Perry, Future, and Tyla. For LISA, the appearance marks a historic milestone as the first Thai solo artist to play such a prominent role in a FIFA opening event.
Musically, “Goals” leans into high-tempo electronic pop built for stadium environments, driven by booming percussion, sharp synth layers, and chant-ready hooks designed for crowd participation. LISA opens the track with its central refrain, delivering the repeated line “give them goals, goals, goals” over a pulsing club beat. The structure then shifts into Anitta’s section, where Portuguese and Spanish vocals glide over a Latin-inflected rhythm change, before Rema closes the record with an Afrobeats-inspired finale that intensifies the track’s global fusion.
The accompanying music video, directed by Chris Villa, pushes that concept into a visual arena built on contrast. Scenes shift between gritty underground football cages and stylized industrial sets lit with stadium-grade lighting. LISA’s segment features synchronized choreography under yellow-and-blue sport-inspired visuals, while Anitta appears inside a smoke-filled, flame-tinged center circle wearing a black corset and fringe skirt.
