LISA has officially kicked off what appears to be the next chapter of her solo career. Just hours after sending fans into detective mode with cryptic Instagram captions, the BLACKPINK star has launched a mysterious new website featuring a countdown that expires on August 24, 2026.

The new site, hellosawadika.com, embraces a minimalist deep-red aesthetic centered around the greeting “HELLO สวัสดีค่ะ,” pairing the English word “hello” with the polite Thai greeting “Sawadika.” A live countdown dominates the homepage, while visitors are invited to select their country and enter an email address to “JOIN,” suggesting that fans who sign up could receive updates about whatever is planned for next week.

The campaign extends beyond the website itself. LISA has updated her Instagram bio with a direct link to the page, while matching promotional billboards displaying “HELLO สวัสดีค่ะ” alongside the website URL have appeared across Bangkok, including near Siam Paragon. The coordinated rollout has convinced many fans that an official announcement is imminent.

Another detail quickly caught fans’ attention. The website rotates the word “hello” through 11 different languages, including English, Spanish, Thai, German, French, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese and Italian.

The launch follows a week of intense online speculation. Earlier, LISA shared a series of Instagram posts featuring unusual capitalization in phrases including “hELLo uTaH,” prompting fans to decode hidden messages from the highlighted letters. Although no official explanation was given, many interpreted the posts as the first clues to a larger promotional campaign.

Those theories gained additional credibility after LISA previously confirmed to Vanity Fair that she had begun recording her next solo album. The publication reported that the project is being developed alongside her upcoming VIVA LA LISA Las Vegas residency, which begins in November after selling out within minutes. Her last full-length solo project, Alter Ego, debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 in 2025 and produced international hits including “Rockstar,” “New Woman,” and “Born Again.”

Momentum has continued to build elsewhere as well. This week, LISA became the first K-pop soloist in MTV Video Music Awards history to reach 10 career nominations, earning four nods at the 2026 ceremony and extending her record as the most-nominated K-pop solo artist ever.
