As every week, InMusic brings you five new songs that just can’t miss in your playlist. This weekend, we witnessed the return of Selena Gomez, who released the new single “Love On.” Justin Timberlake unleashed the second single from his upcoming new album “Everything I Thought It Was.” New releases worth listening to also come from Lil Durk, Linkin Park, and Bailey Zimmerman.

“Love On” — Selena Gomez

Released through Interscope Records, “Love On” arrived six months after the standalone song “Single Soon.” The song was released along with the accompanying music video and is supposed to be the lead single from her much-awaited comeback album.

“Drown” — Justin Timberlake

After making his highly anticipated return with “Selfish,” Justin Timberlake dropped “Drown,” which serves as the second single from his upcoming album “Everything I Thought It Was.” In the song, Justin reflects on themes of betrayal, heartbreak, and realization.

“Old Days” — Lil Durk

Adding a touch of Rap to our roundup is Lil Durk with his new song “Old Days.” Previewed in January, the song serves as the lead single from his upcoming ninth studio album “Love Songs 4 the Streets 3.”

“Friendly Fire” — Linkin Park

Linkin Park delighted us with the 2017 unreleased song “Friendly Fire.” The song was originally written and recorded for the album “One More Light,” but was then scrapped. At the time, Brad Delsom said that there were “a few gems that we’ve got in our back pocket.” Now, after seven years, the iconic group has decided to release it, and it’s always a pleasure to see and hear Chester’s voice.

“Holy Smokes” — Bailey Zimmerman

Closing our weekly roundup is Bailey Zimmerman’s “Holy Smokes.” The song was first performed during the opening show of the “Religiously. The Tour,” and now, after several snippets, the song is finally out and definitely worth listening to.”
