New Music Friday: Kehlani, Noah Kahan, Demi Lovato, and More!

It’s New Music Friday night! At the center of the rollout is Kehlani, arriving with her self-titled album Kehlani on April 24, timed to her 31st birthday. Framed as her most personal project yet, the record builds on a carefully paced campaign that began with “Folded,” which peaked reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. Follow-ups “Out the Window” and “Back and Forth” have sustained momentum, with the latter already surpassing 20 million streams within its first two weeks. The album features 17 tracks, including collaborations with Cardi B, Usher, Missy Elliott, Lil Wayne and more.

A different kind of anticipation surrounds Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide, his first full-length release since Stick Season reshaped his career trajectory. The album’s title track debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking his highest entry to date. Kahan has framed the project as a cathartic response to mounting pressure, suggesting a more exposed lyrical direction layered over his established folk-pop foundation.

Deluxe editions add further weight to the night. Demi Lovato extends her ninth studio album with It’s Not That Deep (Unless You Want It To Be), expanding the tracklist with eight new songs. The set is anchored by “Low Rise Jeans,” a track that leans into early 2000s pop-rock textures Meanwhile, The Kid LAROI revisits his latest era through Before I Forget (Deluxe). Conan Gray rounds out the slate with Wishbone (Deluxe), extending an era that saw the original album debut at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in 2025.
