Madonna is giving fans a new way to experience Confessions II. The pop icon has announced Confessions II: Instrumentals, a vocal-free edition of her fifteenth studio album, arriving on streaming services November 6 and on vinyl November 10.

“Confessions II: Instrumentals. For a good time! OUT on streaming Nov 6th & on Vinyl Nov 10th. Turn up the Volume,” Madonna wrote in a new social media post, accompanied by images continuing the album’s distinctive purple-and-speaker visual identity. The announcement gives listeners the opportunity to hear the production without vocals, putting the arrangements and transitions at the center of the experience.

Released July 3 through Warner Records, Confessions II was conceived as a sequel to 2005’s Confessions on a Dance Floor. Reuniting with Stuart Price, the producer behind its predecessor, Madonna built the 16-track album as one continuous mix, running for approximately an hour and drawing on house, disco and progressive house. Its instrumental edition removes the vocals while preserving the musical framework of the original sequence.

The album features collaborations with Sabrina Carpenter on “Bring Your Love,” Feid on “Read Your Lips,” Martin Garrix on “Bizarre,” Stromae on “My Sins Are My Savior” and Madonna’s daughter Lola Leon on the co-written “The Test.”

The announcement also arrives during an active period for the Confessions II campaign. On September 24, Madonna released “Danceteria Afterhours,” a remix of “Danceteria” featuring Charli XCX. The track revisits the legendary Manhattan club associated with Madonna’s early career while incorporating Charli’s own memories of London’s underground music scene, including her teenage years as a DJ.

Commercially, Confessions II made a major impact upon release. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 134,000 equivalent album units, including 114,000 pure sales, giving Madonna her tenth chart-topping album in the United States.
