New Music Friday is finally here, and so is Tate McRae’s new album So Close To What! The highly anticipated third studio album from the Canadian singer promises to take the spotlight this weekend with its pop-driven, catchy tunes. Released via RCA Records, the album was preceded by three hit singles—“It’s Ok I’m Ok,” “2 Hands,” and “Sports Car”—and features collaborations with Flo Milli and The Kid Laroi. According to the official press release, So Close To What sees Tate embarking on an “introspective exploration of self-discovery, love, and searching for balance.”
Selena Gomez has kicked off the year on a high note. Just a week after announcing Said I Love You First, her joint album with Benny Blanco, and releasing the single “Scared of Loving You”, the pop star is already giving fans a second taste of the record with “Call Me When You Break Up,” featuring none other than Gracie Abrams.
JENNIE continues to build anticipation for her highly awaited debut solo album Ruby with the brand-new single “EXTRAL,” featuring newly Grammy-winning rapper Doechii. The song serves as the third single from the album, following “Mantra” and “Love Hangover”, and it’s not the only high-profile collaboration. A few days ago, the BLACKPINK member unveiled the full Ruby tracklist, sending fans into a frenzy as it includes collaborations with Dua Lipa, Childish Gambino, and Kali Uchis, among others.
