Barbra Streisand is celebrating Ariana Grande with a heartfelt public tribute. On Tuesday, December 23, the legendary singer shared an Instagram post applauding Grande’s talent, versatility, and character.
“Ariana is a young woman with an amazing talent,” Streisand wrote. “She has a beautiful voice like no one else has, and so much more. She can act, she can dance, she can be funny.” Streisand went on to praise Grande’s personal qualities, describing her as “sweet, kind, and thoughtful,” before adding, “I’m very proud of you, Ariana, and thanks for singing with me on my album… Big hug. P.S. you were wonderful on SNL and looked so pretty!”
The tribute follows the release of Streisand’s latest album, The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two, which arrived on June 27, via Columbia Records. The project features a star-studded lineup of duet partners, including “One Heart, One Voice,” a collaboration that unites Streisand, Grande, and Mariah Carey—bringing together three of the most distinctive vocalists in music history.
The Secret of Life marks Streisand’s 37th studio album and serves as a companion to her 2014 release Partners. The album extended her historic Billboard legacy, debuting inside the top 40 of the Billboard 200 and securing Streisand a top-40 album in every decade since the 1960s. The project later earned a Grammy nomination for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
