Beabadoobee has reached a new career milestone in Australia, as Pylon debuts at No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The result gives the Filipino-born singer her first chart-topper in the country and arrives alongside major debuts for Miley Cyrus, Lizzy McAlpine and Riley Green.
Pylon becomes Beabadoobee’s fourth studio album and her strongest ARIA performance to date. Her previous album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves, opened at No. 6 in 2024, while 2022’s Beatopia reached No. 19. The new album also takes the top spot on the ARIA Vinyl Chart, adding another No. 1 to its opening-week performance.

Miley Cyrus opens at No. 2 with Bass Persuades, her first album released under the mononym MILEY. The project also reaches No. 3 on the Vinyl Chart. Cyrus has previously released nine albums under her full name, with eight reaching the ARIA top 10, including three No. 1 albums: Breakout in 2008, Bangerz in 2013 and Endless Summer Vacation in 2023.
Lizzy McAlpine gives the chart another notable new entry with Angel at No. 10. The album follows Older, which reached No. 26 in 2024, while country star Riley Green makes his ARIA Albums Chart debut at No. 14 with That’s Just Me, his fourth studio album.
The ARIA Singles Chart continues to belong to Ella Langley, whose “Choosin’ Texas” holds No. 1 for a 15th non-consecutive week. Only eight songs have reached the summit in Australia so far this year, with Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” leading the overall tally after spending 18 weeks at No. 1.
Adéla is also making a significant move this week, placing two songs inside the ARIA top 10 for the first time. “Nicole Kidman” jumps from No. 14 to No. 4, while “Ain’t In LA” rises from No. 13 to No. 7, giving the Slovak singer two simultaneous top-10 records as her international momentum continues.
