BTS continue to rewrite the record books. Their new album ARIRANG holds at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for a third consecutive week, moving 124,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. and setting a new benchmark for K-pop.
With that milestone, ARIRANG officially becomes the longest-running No. 1 album by a K-pop act in Billboard 200 history, surpassing the previous record held by the soundtrack KPop Demon Hunters.
The numbers underline the scale of the moment. Dated April 18, the chart reflects BTS maintaining momentum well beyond debut week, a feat few groups have managed in the past decade. The last group album to spend at least three weeks at No. 1 was Mumford & Sons’ Babel in 2012–2013, which opened with three consecutive weeks on top before returning later following its Grammy win.
Momentum extends far beyond album sales. On streaming platforms, BTS are equally dominant, with “Swim” holding at No. 1 on the Daily Global Spotify Chart for 23 consecutive days since release.
Earlier this week, BTS launched the ARIRANG World Tour in Goyang, opening with a 23-song setlist that blends new material with career-defining hits.
