After teasing it for the past few days, Charli XCX has finally announced her sixth studio album. Titled “Brat”, the LP will feature 15 songs with a total runtime of 41 minutes and 23 seconds. While the singer has not yet revealed the exact release date, she has confirmed that it will arrive next summer. “Brat – this summer. 15 songs. 41:23 minutes long. on repeat,” she wrote. Fans can now pre-save the album on various streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal, and YouTube Music.

Charli XCX has been teasing “Brat” since the beginning of February. She initially shared a photo from what appeared to be a music video set with the caption “before xcx6”. Subsequently, she announced a new single titled “Von Dutch”, set to release on February 29th along with its accompanying music video. The 31-year-old singer has also dropped hints about the record, stating “xcx6 is a club record and I can’t wait to party around the world with you all xxx”, and “I was born to make dance music… xcx6 is the album I’ve always wanted to make”.
Charli XCX’s most recent LP, “Crash”, was released in 2022. The album topped the UK Albums Chart and received critical acclaim, appearing on several Year-End lists.
