Charli xcx has unveiled a new visual for “Wink Wink,” expanding the rollout for her upcoming album Music, Fashion, Film. Titled “Wink Wink (Angel Girl Video),” the clip is available exclusively on Spotify and can be viewed by users with a Spotify Premium subscription.

Rather than arriving on traditional video platforms, the exclusive Spotify launch offers fans a new way to experience the track just weeks before Charli’s next album arrives.

“Wink Wink” was released last Thursday as the third single from Music, Fashion, Film, exactly one month ahead of the album’s scheduled July 24, 2026 release. The song followed earlier previews “Rock Music” and “SS26,” continuing to showcase the genre-blurring direction of the record, which mixes alternative pop with sharper electronic production.

The original “Wink Wink” visual, directed by longtime collaborator Aidan Zamiri, embraced a dry, satirical tone that mirrored the song’s playful “I’ve changed” narrative.

The newly released “Angel Girl Video” expands that creative universe while offering Spotify Premium subscribers an exclusive visual companion. Charli’s release follows a growing trend of artists debuting exclusive music videos on Spotify to further amplify interest around new music. Taylor Swift, BTS, and Olivia Rodrigo have all embraced the same strategy in recent releases.

The rollout for Music, Fashion, Film continues to build momentum following the enormous success of BRAT, which reshaped Charli’s career and became one of pop’s defining cultural moments. Since announcing the new album, she has repeatedly emphasized that this project is designed to move in a different artistic direction rather than recreate the sound that dominated 2025.
