Charli XCX has announced her next major project — and it’s her most cinematic yet. The British pop visionary revealed that her new album, Wuthering Heights, will be released on February 13, 2026, serving as the official soundtrack to Emerald Fennell’s upcoming film adaptation of Emily Brontë’s Gothic classic.

The singer confirmed the news in a post to fans: “Wuthering Heights, the album I created for Emerald Fennell’s film adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic novel, is available to pre-order now. Yours, 13th February 2026. <3”. The album will feature 12 tracks.

Arriving just days before the film’s theatrical debut, the album marks Charli’s first full-length release since her groundbreaking 2024 record Brat, which redefined the sound of experimental pop and earned her nine Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Dance/Electronic Album.

Earlier this week, Charli unveiled House,” the project’s haunting lead single featuring avant-garde legend John Cale, known for his work with The Velvet Underground.

Accompanied by a shadowy, visually stunning music video, House reflects the novel’s emotional intensity and the film’s Gothic tone. Fennell — the Oscar-winning writer-director of Promising Young Woman and Saltburn — has crafted Wuthering Heights as a dark, sensual reimagining of Brontë’s 1847 masterpiece. The film stars Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, and will premiere on February 11, 2026, in the UK, before arriving in US theaters two days later.
