Charli XCX has stepped into a different world. Wuthering Heights is out now via Atlantic Records, arriving alongside the theatrical release of Emerald Fennell’s film adaptation of the same name. The project marks Charli’s second soundtrack album and a striking turn from the neon pulse of 2024’s Brat.

Created as a companion to Fennell’s reimagining of Emily Brontë’s novel, the 12-track record leans into atmosphere rather than immediacy. Charli began work on the album in December 2024 after Fennell approached her to contribute a single song. The screenplay sparked something larger. Instead of delivering one track, Charli built a full concept album with longtime collaborator Finn Keane.

The lead single, “House,” featuring John Cale, arrived in November 2025, followed a few days later by “Chains of Love.” Earlier this year, she surprise-dropped “Wall of Sound” as the third single.

The Wuthering Heights soundtrack is now available on all major streaming platforms.
