“Do The Math” will arrive October 23 as the album’s second single. In September, she teased the album title “Final Girl” at the end of the “When in Rome” music video, renewing interest in an album she first previewed live while opening select dates of Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism Tour in the United Kingdom and Ireland in 2025.
The road to Cameron’s debut album has been unusually long. In February 2026, while promoting Prime Video’s 56 Days, she revealed that she had been developing the record since 2018, shortly after signing with Columbia Records. The project had been completed multiple times but repeatedly stalled before receiving label approval, eventually forcing her to rewrite the album.
Her most recent body of work, Alchemical: Volume 1, arrived on December 1, 2023, through Disruptor Records and Columbia Records. The pop and alt-pop EP explored love, grief and self-reflection, building on the success of “Boyfriend,” which went viral on TikTok and reached the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100. Cameron followed it with standalone releases including “Too Much,” “French Girls,” “Romeo,” “Whatever You Like,” “Hello My Old Lover” and “When in Rome.”
