Zara Larsson is stepping into a new chapter with her fifth studio album, Midnight Sun, officially out tonight, September 26, via Sommer House and Epic Records. The Swedish pop star has described Midnight Sun as the record that best reflects her artistic core. Inspired by the endless nights of a Swedish summer, the album captures the feeling of time suspended—where the sun never fully sets and emotions stay raw and alive. “I wanted the whole album to feel like it’s a summer night that never ends,” Larsson explained. “It doesn’t matter if it’s December: the summer night will be there for you.”
