Zara Larsson has officially entered a new phase of her career with the release of her fifth studio album, Midnight Sun. Out now via Sommer House and Epic Records, the project finds the Swedish pop star looking inward while still embracing the glossy, high-energy pop that made her a global name. At ten tracks, it is Larsson’s most focused and personal work to date, a collection of songs inspired by the never-ending glow of a Scandinavian summer night.

In her own words, Larsson wanted Midnight Sun to feel timeless, “like it’s a summer night that never ends.” That vision comes through across the record, which blends shimmering production with themes of ambition, identity, and vulnerability. Longtime collaborator MNEK returns as a central creative partner, joined by producers Margo XS, Zhone, and songwriter Helena Gao.

Beyond the studio, Larsson is ready to bring the album to life on stage. The Midnight Sun Tour begins in October across Europe, with arena dates in London, Amsterdam, and Stockholm, before heading to North America in early 2026.

But which songs on Midnight Sun shine the brightest? From euphoric anthems to confessional deep cuts, here’s our ranking of the standout tracks from Zara Larsson’s new era.
