With just weeks remaining until Daughter From Hell arrives, Gracie Abrams is offering fans another glimpse into the emotional world of her upcoming album. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter shared a single lyric from the unreleased track “Good Reason,” posting the line: “If only you didn’t adore me.”

Like many of Abrams’ lyrics, the line conveys heartbreak through understated language rather than dramatic declarations.

The teaser comes as anticipation for Daughter From Hell continues to build ahead of its July 17 release. Announced on May 11, the project has already introduced two songs, “Hit the Wall” and “Look At My Life.” The former debuted with more than 3.2 million Spotify streams, while the latter entered the Daily Global Spotify Chart at No. 66 with 1.901 million streams after its release last Friday.

Abrams has also revealed that the album includes contributions from an impressive group of collaborators. In an interview with Vogue, she confirmed work alongside Bon Iver, Daniel Nigro, Marcus Mumford, and Sarah Aarons. Earlier, during a conversation with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, she hinted that several close friends would appear on the record, saying she felt “so lucky” to have them involved.

The release follows the commercial breakthrough of The Secret of Us, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and marked the biggest album of Abrams’ career to date.

Live performances are already on the horizon as well. Abrams is scheduled to launch The Look at My Life Tour in December 2026, bringing the new era across North America before continuing through the United Kingdom and Europe in 2027.
