It’s been a very long time since we last heard new music from Normani. The former Fifth Harmony member’s latest solo release was in 2022 with “Fair,” the second single from her debut solo album. Since then, she has only appeared on Calvin Harris’ song “New To You.” However, it seems that we may witness her comeback soon.

Excitement is spreading among fans as Normani takes steps towards her new musical era. In fact, the 27-year-old singer has cleared her Instagram account by removing all previously shared photos, including her profile picture. This move was enough to send fans over the moon. “NORMANI MUSIC SOON,” one posted on X/Twitter, while another exclaimed, “THIS IS NOT A DRILL NORMANI IS ALMOST BACK.”
Fans have been eagerly awaiting Normani’s debut album since the split of Fifth Harmony. As a solo artist, she has delighted music lovers with hit singles, collaborating with Khalid on “Love Lies” and with Sam Smith on “Dancing with a Stranger.” Her collaboration with Sam Smith remains her most streamed song with over 1.2 billion streams and earned a nomination for Song of the Year at the Brit Awards. Normani’s first solo single “Motivation” (2019) received critical acclaim, and she also collaborated with Cardi B on the 2021 single “Wild Side.” At the end of 2021, Normani announced on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that her debut studio album “was almost done,” and a couple of months later, she released “Fair,” which remains her latest solo song to date.
