Jennifer Lopez is revisiting her 2011 album LOVE? with three new vinyl editions, each featuring a different colored record in black, red, or blue. Available for pre-order beginning October 28, the releases also offer a first glimpse of JLo’s upcoming music, including her new song “Proof of Love.”

In an interview with Variety, Jennifer Lopez described the track as a dance song built around the complicated emotions that accompany love and loss. “It’s really a beautiful song about this kind of duality,” she explained. “It’s this happy dance song, and these are the things that are the proof of love. One of them is pain and grief when someone’s gone. You feel pain and grief. That’s really proof of love.”

Rather than treating grief as something that diminishes a relationship, Lopez wanted to frame it as evidence of how deeply someone has mattered. “I wanted to make that a happy thing. I wanted to make that a marker instead of this devastating thing,” she added.

“Proof of Love” will be followed by more new material, with JLo teasing that the upcoming songs will have a distinctly playful side. “A couple of others that are super fun and cunty for my gays,” she told Variety.

The renewed focus on music comes after a significant change in Lopez’s personal life. Her twins, Max and Emme Muniz, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, have left for college, prompting the singer to return to the studio and reconsider how she wants to spend her time.

She described the music she has been creating as part of a particularly joyful period in her life, even when the songs carry traces of sadness. “It’s a very happy era album. It’s some of the most joyous, beautiful songs that have just a tad of a tear in them,” she said.

The LOVE? reissue also arrives as Lopez continues to reconnect with audiences through her earlier catalog. Released in 2011, the album spawned “On the Floor,” her global smash with Pitbull, which experienced a remarkable resurgence in May 2026 after appearing in Prime Video’s Off Campus. The song returned to Spotify’s Daily Global chart for the first time, climbed to No. 36 and subsequently surpassed one billion Spotify streams, giving Lopez her first entry into the platform’s Billions Club.

Beyond the vinyl release, Lopez is preparing another major screen appearance. The JLo Show: Live in Vegas, her new concert film, is scheduled to premiere on CBS on Thanksgiving night, November 26, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, with streaming available on Paramount+.
