Hilary Duff is extending the momentum around her new album with a limited-time digital release. The popstar announced the surprise arrival of the luck … or something (happy hour edition), available for download through 11:59 p.m. ET on Thursday, February 26.
“Hey now, hey now! the luck … or something (happy hour edition) is available now until 11:59pm ET this Thursday February 26th!” Duff wrote in her announcement.
The special edition expands on Luck… or Something, which arrived February 20 via Atlantic Records. The project marks Duff’s first full-length album since 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out., and her most cohesive pop statement in a decade. Largely co-written and produced by Matthew Koma, the 11-track set leans into polished, introspective pop. On songs like “Mature,” “Roommates,” and “Weather for Tennis,” Duff reflects on growth, relationships and the recalibration that comes with stepping back into the spotlight.
The “happy hour edition” adds further incentive for collectors and devoted listeners. It includes all seven re-recordings of her greatest hits, alongside an exclusive video for “What Dreams Are Made Of (Mine)” and additional bonus material.
Commercially, the timing is strategic. Upon release, Luck… or Something peaked at No. 3 on the U.S. iTunes chart and is projected to contend for a top 10 debut on the next Billboard 200. The limited digital window may further boost sales as tracking week closes.
