Fans have spoken, and this week’s poll delivered one of the closest results of the year.
According to our latest X survey, Hilary Duff’s sixth studio album Luck… or Something has been crowned Best New Release of the Week, earning 46% of the vote. The margin was slim. Leigh-Anne’s debut solo effort My Ego Told Me To followed closely behind with 44%, making it a near tie between two long-awaited pop returns.
Further down the ranking, Lana Del Rey’s new single “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter” secured 7%, while Baby Keem’s sophomore album Ca$ino claimed 3%.
Duff’s victory marks a significant moment in her comeback cycle. Released on February 20 via Atlantic Records, Luck… or Something is her first full-length project since 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out. The 11-track set leans into glossy, introspective pop, largely co-written and produced by Matthew Koma. Across songs like “Mature,” “Roommates,” and “Weather for Tennis,” Duff reflects on love, fame, and the quiet recalibration that comes with time.
The close second-place finish for Leigh-Anne underscores the anticipation surrounding her independent chapter. My Ego Told Me To, released through Virgin Music Group, presents a confident, self-defined statement from the former Little Mix member.
Meanwhile, Lana Del Rey continues to build momentum toward her upcoming tenth album, Stove. “White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,” co-written with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff, offers a hymn-like, surreal preview of that era.
On the hip-hop front, Baby Keem’s Ca$ino arrived via Columbia Records and pgLang, blending experimental production with personal storytelling. The project earned his strongest Spotify debut to date.
