Taylor Swift is closing out 2025 on a high note. Her new six-part series, The End of an Era, premieres this Friday (Dec. 12) on Disney+, offering fans an intimate look at the record-breaking tour that reshaped the global live-music landscape. The project arrives one year after the final Eras Tour show in Vancouver.
The End of an Era combines rehearsal footage, candid backstage moments, personal reflections, and never-before-seen interviews with Swift’s closest collaborators. Viewers will hear from her band, dancers, production crew, and longtime creative partners, as well as artists who joined her onstage during the tour, including Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, and Gracie Abrams. Travis Kelce also appears in the series.
Episodes 1 and 2 are available at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT on Disney+ and on Hulu for bundled subscribers. The remaining episodes will arrive weekly, with Episodes 3 and 4 releasing December 19, and Episodes 5 and 6 dropping December 26.
The docuseries arrives alongside a surprise companion feature, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, which documents her complete Vancouver finale and includes the full The Tortured Poets Department set. For fans who followed every costume change, surprise song, and crowd-shaking stadium moment, the film acts as a definitive send-off to a tour that generated over $2 billion in revenue and sold more than 10.1 million tickets worldwide.
Swift first teased the project during an appearance on Good Morning America, where she described the series as a tribute to the creative and emotional journey behind her most ambitious era. “We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives,” she shared. “We allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down.” Production teams were granted unprecedented access, documenting everything from late-night set revisions to the moments before Swift walked onstage each night.
For fans without a Disney+ subscription, Episode 1 will air for free on ABC at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, making the series accessible to a wider audience.
