J-Hope has set a new benchmark in K-pop history. The BTS rapper’s Hope on the Stage tour has officially become the highest-grossing concert tour by a Korean soloist, earning an impressive $84.7 million across its global run.

The milestone cements J-Hope’s position as one of the most successful solo acts to emerge from BTS, and highlights the worldwide demand for his music and performance style. Spanning from February 28 to June 14, 2025, the tour supported his debut studio album Jack in the Box and his EP Hope on the Street Vol. 1.

The Hope on the Stage tour began with three sold-out nights at Seoul’s KSPO Dome, marking J-Hope’s first solo concerts in South Korea. From there, he traveled across North America with 10 U.S. shows and two in Mexico, including a historic two-night stand at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium—the first solo stadium shows by a BTS member. The tour continued through Asia, with stops in the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Macau, Taiwan, and Japan, before closing with two homecoming nights at Goyang Stadium.

J-Hope’s path to this achievement has been years in the making. He was the first BTS member to release a full-length solo project with Jack in the Box in July 2022, and he kept fans connected during his military service with the Hope on the Street Vol. 1 EP and documentary.
