Jungkook has once again made history, this time setting a new benchmark for K-pop soloists on Spotify. The BTS star’s debut album Golden has become the first album by a K-pop soloist to feature three tracks surpassing 1 billion streams each on the platform.

The milestone was achieved as “3D,” his collaboration with Jack Harlow, officially crossed the billion mark, joining earlier hits “Seven” featuring Latto and “Standing Next to You.” Together, the songs make Golden one of the biggest solo albums in K-pop history.

On top of that, Jungkook now holds four billion-stream tracks overall, when including his 2022 collaboration with Charlie Puth, “Left and Right.” With this, Jungkook extends his lead among K-pop soloists.

The record is the latest in a long list of milestones tied to Golden. Released on November 3, 2023, through Big Hit Music, the album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with over 210,000 equivalent units in its first week—making it one of the strongest debuts ever for a Korean soloist. The all-English pop project, featuring collaborators like Jack Harlow, Latto, Major Lazer, and DJ Snake, quickly established Jungkook as a crossover force capable of dominating charts well beyond the K-pop sphere.

Beyond Spotify, the Golden era has also made waves on YouTube, where all three of its major singles—“Seven,” “3D,” and “Standing Next to You”—have surpassed 200 million views each, another first for a K-pop soloist.
