As anticipation builds for Lady Gaga’s upcoming seventh studio album, scheduled for release in February 2025, the pop icon has given fans a glimpse into what’s to come. Speaking with Rolling Stone, Gaga revealed details about one of the standout tracks from her yet-untitled album, sharing that it was the first song written for the project.
“There’s one I’m thinking of that I’m very excited for the fans to hear,” Gaga said. “It was the very first song we wrote for this album. It’s hard-hitting beats, those big sweeping Queen vocals, and some Bowie guitars. In a way, that’s me—you pull from things you love.”

This teaser comes shortly after the release of “Disease,” the lead single from the upcoming album, which has already sparked excitement among fans and critics alike. Released on October 25th, “Disease,” produced by Andrew Watt and Cirkut, incorporates elements of dark pop and electro-pop. The song peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top 10 in the UK.
