The Path to WHAM (Who Hard as Me)

The first hints of Lil Baby’s new album surfaced in the final months of 2024. In October, following Young Thug’s release from jail, Baby was pictured in the studio with him, Future, and Travis Scott, sparking speculation about new material. Around the same time, he showcased a $2.6 million custom jewelry piece reading “WHAM,” hinting at the album title. Before the end of the year, the 30-year-old rapper released three standalone singles: “5AM,” “Insecurities,” and “Touchdown.”

On December 19, Baby appeared on Lil Yachty’s podcast, A Safe Place, where he revealed that his plans extend beyond WHAM (Who Hard as Me). He announced that another album titled Dominique will also drop in 2025.
