Complex and Disney are joining forces with Zara Larsson for a special-edition fashion collection inspired by The Little Mermaid, bringing the Disney classic into the Swedish pop star’s colorful visual world. The capsule collection will be available exclusively through Complex’s online store on October 27, featuring apparel and accessories that combine Ariel-inspired imagery with references to Larsson’s music.

The Disney The Little Mermaid | Zara Larsson collection draws on the animated film’s sense of wonder and curiosity, connecting Ariel’s underwater world with the playful aesthetic that has become central to Larsson’s recent creative era. Inspired in part by the message of “Blue Moon,” the collaboration centers on reconnecting with your inner child and finding magic in everyday life.

Ocean-inspired imagery, glitter accents and references to lyrics from “Blue Moon” and “Midnight Sun” run throughout the collection. The assortment includes special-edition T-shirts, a ribbed tank top, a long-sleeve shirt, zip-up hoodies, an off-the-shoulder tee, a tote bag and a pin set. Prices range from $40 to $120, positioning the capsule across a mix of wearable streetwear and collectible merchandise.

Bobby Kim, Disney’s vice president and global creative director, described the partnership as a way to bring storytelling together with contemporary music and fashion. The collaboration builds on Zara Larsson’s connection to the visual world of her Midnight Sun era, and the colorful, beach-inspired imagery associated with the album.

The announcement arrives as Zara Larsson continues to extend the album’s era into 2026. “Blue Moon,” featured on Midnight Sun, received a music video on October 15, directed by Charlotte Rutherford. The vibrant visual draws inspiration from an unexpected reference: Beyoncé’s Japanese Crystal Geyser mineral water commercial from 2008–2009. Larsson has described “Blue Moon” as the sister song to the album’s title track, while an alternate version featuring Kehlani appeared on Midnight Sun: Girls Trip in 2026.

The Disney collaboration also follows Complex and Disney’s recent partnership with KATSEYE, which brought Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse into a separate streetwear capsule announced October 14 and launched the following day. Like that collection, the Zara Larsson assortment gives familiar Disney characters a pop-culture treatment.
