LISA, Gunna, RAYE, Sienna Spiro and more have joined the performer lineup for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards. MTV announced the latest additions September 17, expanding the bill ahead of the ceremony’s September 27 broadcast from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
LISA will take the VMA stage to perform “SaWaDiKa,” the lead single from her upcoming six-track EP PRESS PLAY, due October 23. The BLACKPINK member released the song September 3, with its Bangkok-shot music video collecting more than 70 million YouTube views in its first 24 hours.

The performance comes just days after LISA appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she explained that PRESS PLAY reflects her journey from her Thai roots to where she is today. She described each song as having its own character and vibe, with the complete EP coming together “like a movie.” LISA also revealed that Track 4 will be the project’s next single, teasing that its title begins with the letter “T.”
“SaWaDiKa” has already added another chart milestone to LISA’s solo career. The track debuted at No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 dated September 19, giving her seven entries on the chart and tying JENNIE for the most Hot 100 appearances among female K-pop soloists. LISA enters the VMAs with four nominations. She will also be the first K-pop soloist to perform at the ceremony.
RAYE will also perform at the ceremony. She is nominated for Song of the Year with “Where Is My Husband!,” the lead single from her second album This Music May Contain Hope, which reached No. 1 in the U.K. The appearance follows her recent run opening for Bruno Mars on his Romantic Tour.
Sienna Spiro is set for her first VMA performance after earning a Best New Artist nomination. The 20-year-old British singer recently scored her first U.K. No. 1 with “Great Expectation,” while her debut album Visitor reached No. 9 on the Billboard 200.
GENER8ION and Yung Lean will bring “Storm II” to the VMA stage for its world-premiere live performance. The collaboration between French producer Surkin and director Romain Gavras, featuring Yung Lean, has earned three nominations this year, including Video of the Year, following the release of its dystopian audiovisual project and the viral choreography associated with it.
Shaboozey will perform “Cowgirl” and join Gunna for their collaboration “High Noon.” Both tracks appear on Shaboozey’s July album The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales.
The new additions join a ceremony already anchored by several major moments. Madonna will open the show, becoming the first artist to deliver five VMA opening performances, while marking her first appearance at the ceremony since 2003. Nirvana will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, with Snoop Dogg hosting the broadcast.
The 2026 VMAs will air live September 27 at 7:30 p.m. ET on CBS, with simulcasts on MTV and Paramount+.
