The announcement comes as LISA offers selected fans an opportunity to hear PRESS PLAY ahead of its public release. Through a series of exclusive listening parties planned around the world, LLOUD is giving fans a chance to experience the EP early. Interested listeners can submit their details through the official Sony Music fan registration form, although applying does not guarantee entry.

LISA has also offered insight into the cultural influences behind the project. During her first appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 16, she explained that PRESS PLAY reflects her journey from her Thai roots to the person she has become today. Thai musical elements are woven throughout the six tracks, making the EP a more focused statement about her identity and the experiences that have shaped her career.

The project’s lead single, “SaWaDiKa,” arrived on September 4 via LLOUD and RCA Records. Inspired by the Thai greeting “sawatdi kha,” the dance-pop track introduced the cultural direction of this new chapter. Its music video, filmed in Bangkok and directed by Joseph Kahn, generated approximately 70.8 million views in its first 24 hours, giving the release a major opening on YouTube.

“SaWaDiKa” also reached the Billboard Hot 100, debuting at No. 69 on the chart dated September 19. The entry brought LISA’s career total to seven appearances on the US chart, tying JENNIE for the most Hot 100 entries among female K-pop soloists at the time.
