Masego is officially back in album mode. The genre-blending singer, songwriter and saxophonist announced that his new studio album, Fix Your Face, will arrive this Friday, July 17, marking his first full-length release since his self-titled project earned widespread critical acclaim.

The announcement arrives just weeks after Masego introduced his latest era with “Breathe,” a deeply personal single released through Capitol Records. Built around understated production, soaring choir harmonies and reflective songwriting, the track explores the emotional toll of balancing grief with the relentless pace of the music industry.

Speaking about the song, Masego explained that “Breathe” was inspired by losing a family member while still being expected to attend meetings, record music and travel. He described it as one of the most honest songs he has written, adding that it reflects a desire for greater recognition of the mental and emotional pressures musicians often face.

Fix Your Face appears poised to expand on those themes. While the full tracklist has yet to be revealed, the project follows a steady stream of recent releases, including “I Win,” “Unhinged,” “Spin The Block,” and now “Breathe.”

The album announcement also comes as anticipation builds for the Fix Your Face Tour, Masego’s first headlining run in nearly three years. The expansive 40-plus-date trek begins on August 4 in Dallas before making stops at major venues including The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, Radio City Music Hall in New York City and The O2 in London.
