Taylor Swift has rewritten Spotify’s Global chart with the release of The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, placing four songs inside the top 10 during the Sept. 25–Oct. 1 tracking week. “Patient Zero” opened at No. 1 with 47,560,196 streams, ending Karol G’s four-week run at the summit and giving Swift the week’s most dominant single-artist presence.

The chart takeover followed the release of the four-song deluxe expansion, which has already become the biggest deluxe-album debut in Spotify history. Swift’s new material accounted for four of the top seven positions, while she also became the platform’s most-streamed artist worldwide for the week.

Karol G’s “BbY WOW,” featuring Judeline and rusowsky, fell to No. 2 with 39,492,128 streams. The song remained comfortably ahead of the rest of the field despite losing nearly two million weekly streams and entered its seventh week on the chart.

ADÉLA held No. 3 with “Nicole Kidman,” which collected 26.24 million streams. Taylor Swift then returned at No. 4 with “Cleveland!” at 25.65 million and No. 5 with “Babylon” at 24.44 million, while ADÉLA’s “Ain’t In LA” slipped to No. 6. Swift completed the four-song cluster at No. 7 with “Pink Clouding,” which generated 24.22 million streams.

Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” landed at No. 8, followed by Olivia Rodrigo’s “the cure” at No. 9 and Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj’s “Beauty And A Beat” at No. 10. Swift’s impact extended beyond the four new songs, with “The Fate of Ophelia” jumping 10 positions to No. 13 after generating 19.93 million streams.

The weekly results build on an even more explosive first-day performance for The Encore. Across its four tracks, the project generated 40.5 million global Spotify streams, with every song entering the top four of the Daily Global chart. “Patient Zero” led with 13.709 million streams, followed by “Cleveland!” at No. 2 with 9.6 million, “Pink Clouding” at No. 3 with 8.7 million and “Babylon” at No. 4 with 8.4 million.

That opening made “Patient Zero” the biggest Spotify song debut of 2026 by a female artist, trailing only BTS’ “Swim,” which opened with roughly 14 million streams. Taylor Swift also set a 2026 record for the most Spotify streams by a female artist in a single day.

The Encore’s momentum has extended beyond Spotify. The four-track package quickly reached No. 1 on U.S. iTunes, while “Patient Zero” displaced Swift’s own “The Fate of Ophelia” at No. 1 and pushed her career total to 82 No. 1 songs on the platform.

The expansion was born from another collaboration with Max Martin and Shellback. Roughly a year after The Life of a Showgirl delivered the biggest first week for an album in history, Swift returned to Sweden to celebrate that achievement with the longtime collaborators, with the sessions eventually producing the four songs now driving another wave of chart activity.
