She explained that the album’s title reflects the emotional force of music and the different experiences it can carry, from heartbreak and vulnerability to joy and strength. Miley Cyrus also thanked her fans for helping make her “wildest dreams” possible, adding that she sincerely hopes listeners love the project.
Bass Persuades arrives after a tightly controlled rollout that began with a series of mysterious red-and-black visuals. On August 31, Cyrus shared a striking image featuring the single word “MILEY,” while her social media usernames began shifting toward @MILEY. Her official website also moved to mileyofficial.com, where the homepage prominently displays only “Miley.”
Those changes followed mysterious billboards spotted in New York City featuring close-up eye imagery and the words “COMING SOON.” With Miley Cyrus gradually stripping back the branding around her name, fans spent days speculating that the campaign could lead to a self-titled album or a major reinvention.
Instead, Cyrus has now revealed Bass Persuades as the title of her 10th studio album. The project also represents her first album release through Atlantic Records after she signed with the label in 2026, following 14 years with Sony Music.
That transition comes after one of the most commercially significant stretches of Cyrus’ career. Her 2013 album Bangerz debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and went on to earn a triple-platinum RIAA certification, producing career-defining singles including “We Can’t Stop” and “Wrecking Ball.”
Miley Cyrus’ most recent studio album, Something Beautiful, was released May 30, 2025, through Columbia Records. The project marked another stylistic chapter for the singer, while Bass Persuades now introduces the first full-length release of her Atlantic era.
The album will also receive a live showcase at the Hollywood Bowl, where Cyrus will perform Bass Persuades on October 16 and 18 with special guest Model/Actriz. Calling the venue her “favorite place to experience music,” Cyrus revealed that she has attended shows there many times but has never previously taken its stage.
Bass Persuades will contain ten songs, with Andrew Wyatt as the featured artist. See the full tracklist below.
