Miley Cyrus has revealed that her unreleased song “Redlights” is currently her favorite track she has ever written. The song, which is expected to appear on her upcoming 10th studio album, has become a major point of curiosity among fans after Cyrus teased that it remains unheard by the public.
In a new interview with Wonderland, Cyrus reflected on some of the most personal songs from her catalog, including “Twinkle Song” and “Pablow the Blowfish,” while also recognizing the cultural impact of her Grammy-winning hit “Flowers.” However, when asked to choose the song that stands out most to her at this moment, Miley Cyrus selected “Redlights,” describing it as a track that “no one’s heard yet” from her next project.

Miley Cyrus first teased “Redlights” in 2019 during the rollout period surrounding her planned She Is Coming era, but the track was ultimately shelved alongside other unreleased material when those original plans changed.
Cyrus previously revealed that her upcoming album will feature songs that were originally created for different chapters of her career. That detail has fueled speculation that “Redlights” could finally see an official release after spending several years in the vault.
The singer’s latest comments arrive during a major transition in her career. On July 27, 2026, Cyrus confirmed that she had signed with Atlantic Records after 14 years with Sony Music labels, marking the beginning of a new era following a decade of major releases and career-defining moments.
