Miley Cyrus is counting down to the release of her “Let’s Get Married” music video, which will arrive just hours before her new album Bass Persuades. The singer announced that the video will premiere Thursday, September 17, at 9 p.m. PT, giving fans another preview of the record ahead of its September 18 release.
“BASS PERSUADES. THE ALBUM. LETS GET MARRIED. THE VIDEO. 9/17 AT 9PM PT,” Miley Cyrus wrote on social media. She followed the announcement with a personal reflection on the album’s unusually fast creative timeline, revealing that it has been less than a year since she began making the project.

“It’s been less than a year since starting to create this album and now releasing it,” Miley wrote. “Having this record keep up with the way my life moves in real time and still feel so alive is special.” She also thanked the collaborators who helped shape the project before closing the message with a note of love for her fans.
“Let’s Get Married” will serve as the second single from Bass Persuades after the title track introduced the era on September 3. The upcoming video arrives one day before the album and continues a rollout that has placed romance, nightlife and physicality at the center of Cyrus’ latest creative chapter.
The album marks Miley Cyrus’ tenth studio album and her first release under her new mononym following her departure from Columbia Records. Atlantic Records will release the 10-track project on Friday, September 18, with the album framed around a layered love story inspired in part by her engagement to producer Maxx Morando and her evolving relationship with herself.
Cyrus announced Bass Persuades on September 1, describing the title as representing a “heart full, heartache, every part of life in between.” The record brings together a range of collaborators, including New York industrial rock band Model/Actriz on “Different Religion” and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow on “Neon Signs.” Production credits include Cyrus, Kid Harpoon, Morando and Michael Pollack.
The title track established a distinctly dance-focused direction. Built around pulsing ’80s synths, a four-on-the-floor beat and a heavy bassline, “Bass Persuades” urges listeners to put their phones away and surrender to the moment.
The song debuted at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Cyrus her 25th top 40 entry on the chart, while also reaching No. 31 in the U.K.
