Miley Cyrus has once again proven her unmatched star power. Tickets for the world premiere of her upcoming musical film Something Beautiful sold out in just 15 minutes, with more than 200,000 fans waiting in the online queue. The event marks the official debut of her highly anticipated visual album and is set to be one of the most talked-about cultural moments of the year.

Described as a “pop opera,” the film features thirteen original songs from Cyrus’ forthcoming ninth studio album, also titled Something Beautiful, which will be released on May 30, 2025, via Columbia Records.

Co-directed by Miley Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter, the film will premiere at the 2025 Tribeca Festival on June 6, with a wider theatrical release planned for later in the month. The visual album explores emotional themes including healing, identity, and transformation, and takes clear inspiration from Pink Floyd’s The Wall.

The album blends multiple genres, including alternative R&B, soul, experimental rock, and psychedelic pop. The Grammy-winning superstar has already given fans a glimpse into the project by unveiling the spoken-word opener “Prelude,” the genre-bending title track, and the disco-infused lead single “End of the World,” which dropped earlier this month.
