Nick Jonas used one of Hollywood’s brightest nights to quietly shift the spotlight back to his own music. Walking the red carpet at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards alongside his wife, Priyanka Chopra, the singer shared insights into his upcoming album, Sunday Best. Speaking with Variety, Jonas reflected on the rare balance of timing and momentum that made the project possible. “It’s my fourth solo studio album,” he said. “To do that amidst the busiest year in the Jonas Brothers’ career, it was a dream to pour that creative energy into something.”

The album is set to arrive on February 6, marking Jonas’ first solo full-length in five years. Fans got their first taste of the era on January 1 with the release of “Gut Punch,” the project’s lead single. The track introduces a sharper emotional edge, hinting at themes of vulnerability, self-reflection, and emotional honesty. It also signals a departure from 2021’s Spaceman, which leaned heavily into glossy, conceptual pop and debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200.

Sunday Best lands during an unusually active period for the Jonas family. The Jonas Brothers released Greetings From Your Hometown in August 2025, followed by the Disney+ holiday film A Very Jonas Christmas Movie. Joe Jonas has also stepped into the solo spotlight with his own project, Music for People Who Believe in Love.
