Nicki Minaj has once again taken over the internet — this time with an empowering and cryptic new post that signals a dramatic shift in her career plans. On October 19, the rap icon took to X (formerly Twitter) to deliver a fiery message filled with bold claims, sharp wit, and a declaration that she’s entering a new era — the “Billionaire Barbie” era.

The truth of the matter is I could put out an album tmrw & STILL revolutionize the industry yet AGAIN on 3.27.26,” she wrote, referencing what fans recognize as the previously teased release date for her next project. “And then turn around and STILL release another BLOCKBUSTER 4th quarter of ‘26. Incentivize me.”

In her post, Minaj outlined ambitious creative plans for the upcoming year, teasing three “game-changingdocumentaries and three audiobooks, all of which she claims could arrive in 2026. “I could release 3 monumental documentaries & 3 audiobooks next year alone,” she wrote. “Watch them try & fail miserably thinking they’ll beat me to it yet again. lol.”

But her message wasn’t just about upcoming projects — it was also a critique of imitation and media culture. “I don’t have to be copied by podcasters & TV hosts… I AM the PODCAST. I am THEE TV HOST,” she declared. “I AM the TECHNOLOGY you search for.”

The rapper, who referred to herself as “Billionaire Barbie,” ended her post with a confident flourish: “Hi, I’m Billionaire Barbie. Let’s chat.

Minaj’s latest statement follows a string of viral posts earlier this month in which she expressed frustration with the media and hinted at shelving her highly anticipated sixth studio album, NM6, after a report from Page Six claimed her Los Angeles home was at risk of foreclosure. The rapper swiftly denied the report, accusing the outlet — and Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez — of spreading false information as part of a “smear campaign.”

At the time, Minaj wrote, “They don’t want me to put out music. Me winning makes them feel like they lost.” She ended one post with what appeared to be an announcement: “Ok I’m not going to put out the album anymore. No more music.”

However, her new message on X seems to walk back those earlier claims, reigniting speculation that NM6 could still arrive on March 27, 2026, the date she continues to reference.
