Olivia Rodrigo’s You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl so in Love is projected to return to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, potentially earning a third week atop the chart after eight weeks at No. 2. According to predictions reported by Nora Music, the album is expected to generate 72,000 equivalent album units, putting Olivia Rodrigo ahead of Zach Bryan’s Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs, which is projected to debut close behind with 65,000 units.

If the forecast holds, Rodrigo will reclaim the summit for the first time since the chart dated June 28, extending the commercial run of her third studio album.

You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl so in Love opened with 485,000 equivalent album units, delivering the biggest debut of Olivia Rodrigo’s career and the largest opening week by a female act in 2026. The album followed that performance with 180,000 units in its second week, becoming her first release to spend its first two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Neither Sour (2021) nor Guts (2023), both of which debuted atop the chart, managed the same consecutive-week achievement. The album’s opening week also included 401.7 million Spotify streams across its first seven days, making it the platform’s fifth-biggest opening streaming week ever for a female artist.

Olivia Rodrigo has continued to build the era through new music and live performances. In late August, she released “Serena Joy” around her inaugural Daisy Chain Fields Festival, while September brought the launch of her Unraveled Tour. Last week, she also released an “Expectations” remix featuring Chappell Roan, adding another development to an album campaign that has remained active well beyond its initial release.
