In a recent interview with Dazed, BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ shared her thoughts on what it would mean to win a Grammy—and her answer highlights what truly matters to her as an artist. “That would be incredible,” she said when asked about the possibility of receiving music’s most prestigious honor. “But I think if it means more to my community, it’d be special. That’s the first thing that I want, and whatever awards or celebration come after it, that would feel extra rewarding.

Since launching her solo career with her debut single album R—which featured the hit tracks “On The Ground” and “Gone”—ROSÉ has seen steady success with her solo work. In December 2024, she released her debut studio album, Rosie, marking the first solo full-length from a BLACKPINK member. The LP achieved massive success, driven in part by the global hit “APT.” featuring Bruno Mars. The song not only surpassed 1.6 billion streams on Spotify but also earned several awards, including a Japan Gold Disc Award and an MTV Video Music Award Japan.

Beyond her comments on a potential Grammy win, ROSÉ also spoke about BLACKPINK’s highly anticipated comeback. “Each of us has gone out and been inspired and learned so much about ourselves,” she told Dazed. “Now we’re coming back to each other with good energy.”
