Kanye West (Ye) made a surprise appearance during Chris Brown and Usher’s R&B Tour stop at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Friday night, September 25, joining the co-headliners for an unexpected moment that sent the stadium crowd into a frenzy. Wearing a new full-face mask, the rapper performed “All of the Lights” and was also captured performing part of “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.”
The cameo came during a tour that has increasingly become known for high-profile guest appearances. Brown and Usher launched The R&B Tour in late June in Denver, initially announcing 33 dates before expanding the run to 59 shows across the U.S. and Canada following demand, with the tour scheduled to conclude in Tampa in December.

Kanye West’s appearance added another major name to a guest list that has already included 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, Future, Nelly, Lil Baby, Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Ashanti and Method Man. The nearly three-hour production combines the catalogs of Brown and Usher with joint performances such as “New Flame,” alongside tributes to Prince, Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye.
For Ye, the appearance arrives during a major live comeback cycle of his own. The rapper released Bully in March before launching the Ye Live Concert Tour with two elaborate SoFi Stadium shows in April, marking his first major U.S. stadium performances in years.
His 2026 touring schedule has since taken him through several major markets, including Chicago, where he returned to Soldier Field for two sold-out concerts on September 3 and 4. According to Pollstar figures provided in recent reports, the two shows sold 129,562 tickets and generated $29.8 million in combined gross revenue, with the second night earning $15.76 million, the highest single-night gross in Soldier Field history.
