With a record-breaking year behind her, ROSÉ is looking toward the music industry’s biggest stage — the GRAMMY Awards. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the BLACKPINK star turned soloist revealed just how much the recognition would mean to her.
“Really? You believe that?” ROSÉ said when asked about the possibility. “I’m getting chills right now. It’s still a dream for me. It’s still a fantasy. A moment that proves to myself so many things.”

ROSÉ has submitted both her debut album Rosie and her record-breaking single “APT.” for consideration at the 2026 GRAMMYs. The submissions include some of the Recording Academy’s top categories:

Much of this Grammy buzz centers around “APT.”, her 2024 collaboration with Bruno Mars. The track has become a global phenomenon, recently crossing 2 billion streams on Spotify. It also became the first song in history to surpass 2 billion streams on both Spotify and YouTube in under a year.
The single dominated charts worldwide, spending 12 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and 19 weeks atop the Global Excl. U.S. chart — the longest run in history. It also topped Apple Music charts in 61 countries and broke records on YouTube as the fastest video by an Asian act, and by any female lead, to cross 2 billion views. At the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, “APT.” was crowned Song of the Year, giving ROSÉ her first VMA win.
Released on December 6, 2024, Rosie marked ROSÉ’s first full-length solo project after parting ways with YG Entertainment and Interscope. The 12-track record, blending pop-punk, alternative pop, 1990s R&B, and synthpop, was co-produced with Bruno Mars, Carter Lang, and Omer Fedi. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, becoming the highest-charting album by a K-pop female soloist. It has since been certified double platinum in South Korea and went gold in several countries.
