SM Entertainment is preparing a busy start to 2027, with RIIZE, Hearts2Hearts, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, NCT’s Jaehyun and several other artists scheduled to release new music during the first quarter. The upcoming lineup was revealed in the company’s Q3 2026 earnings presentation on November 4, offering an early look at its January-to-March release plans.

NCT’s Jaehyun is also listed for a full album. His next solo project will follow his 2024 debut album J, led by “Smoke,” and subsequent releases including “Unconditional” and “99 Degrees,” which arrived in July 2026 after his military discharge in May. The singer has also resumed activities following enlistment, including his first Asia tour, Mono.

RIIZE are expected to return with their second full-length album. The boy group released their first studio album, Odyssey, in 2025, followed by the mini album II in June 2026, featuring “Do Your Dance.” Their latest release, “Insomnia,” arrived in late October as an acoustic pop prologue single, setting the stage for the group’s next era.

Meanwhile, Hearts2Hearts are scheduled to release a new mini album. Since debuting in 2025 as SM Entertainment’s first new girl group following aespa, the eight-member act has steadily expanded its international activities. Their upcoming release will arrive as the group prepares for further exposure outside South Korea, including an appearance at Primavera Sound 2027 in Barcelona, where they are currently the only K-pop act announced.

The first-quarter schedule also includes new music from two established NCT units and a Super Junior pairing. SUPER JUNIOR-83z, formed by Leeteuk and Heechul, is listed for a single, while NCT JNJM, the unit featuring NCT Dream members Jeno and Jaemin, will release a Japanese single CD. NCT Dream’s Chenle rounds out the announced lineup with a Chinese-language single.

SM hasn’t announced any new music plans for aespa in their first-quarter schedule.
