What Time Does Saturday Night Live Start Tonight?
The Halloween episode of Saturday Night Live airs Saturday, October 31, at 11:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. PT on NBC. Viewers can also watch live through Peacock, with the episode becoming available for next-day streaming on the platform. This episode marks only the fifth time in the show’s history that SNL has aired on October 31 itself, making the Halloween timing particularly unusual.
The broadcast follows a two-week break after the October 10 episode featuring Shane Gillis and Rosalía. With Halloween falling on a Saturday, the new installment is expected to lean into the holiday through its opening segment, sketches and promotional material.
Who Is Hosting SNL Tonight?
Inde Navarrette will make her Saturday Night Live hosting debut. The 25-year-old actress gained wider attention in 2026 for playing Nikki Freeman in Curry Barker’s supernatural horror film Obsession, which became a commercial and viral success.
Her breakout role makes her a natural fit for the Halloween episode. Viewers can expect the film to provide material for the monologue or a horror-inspired sketch, although the show’s writers have kept specific details under wraps.
Navarrette has also been cast as Rogue in the upcoming X-Men film Invertigo and is attached to the science-fiction thriller The Waffle House Index. Promotional videos for the episode have already embraced the spooky theme, including Halloween ghost-related comedy with cast member Jane Wickline.
Who Is the Musical Guest on SNL Tonight?
Gracie Abrams will serve as the musical guest, marking her second appearance on SNL. She previously performed on December 14, 2024, during the episode hosted by Chris Rock, delivering “That’s So True” and “I Love You, I’m Sorry.”
This time, Abrams arrives following a major year for her music career. Her third studio album, Daughter from Hell, was released on July 17, 2026, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 124,000 equivalent album units. The achievement gave her the first chart-topper of her career, while the project also reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart.
On October 29, she released “Here You Come, There You Go,” the lead single from Daughter from Hell (Deluxe), scheduled to arrive November 20. The expanded edition will include five additional tracks: “Here You Come, There You Go,” “Lost In It,” “Crazy Girl,” “Love Letter” and “Out of Nowhere.”
Abrams has also teased wearing two different costumes for her performances, adding another Halloween element to the broadcast.
What Else to Expect From SNL Season 52
Season 52 continues with its returning cast, including Kenan Thompson, Michael Che, Colin Jost, Mikey Day, Marcello Hernández and Sarah Sherman. Featured players Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter, who joined during the September 26 premiere, are also part of the current lineup.
The upcoming schedule includes Druski hosting with The Strokes as musical guest on November 7, followed by John Mulaney and Phoebe Bridgers on November 14.
