The announcement arrives just two days before Gracie Abrams returns to Saturday Night Live as the musical guest for the show’s Halloween episode on October 31. Actress Inde Navarrette will host the episode, marking Abrams’ second appearance on the NBC sketch-comedy series. She previously performed on the show in December 2024, during the promotional run for her second studio album, The Secret of Us.
Gracie Abrams is building on a major commercial milestone with Daughter from Hell, released in July. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 124,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the tracking week ending July 23, earning the singer-songwriter her first chart-topping album in the country. It also gave her consecutive No. 1 albums on the Official U.K. Albums Chart, following the success of Good Riddance and The Secret of Us.
The album’s opening week generated substantial streaming activity, too. On July 17, Daughter from Hell amassed 17.96 million global Spotify streams, with six tracks appearing on the platform’s Daily Global Songs chart. “Good Reason” led the group, debuting at No. 49 with more than two million streams, while “Look at My Life,” “Hit the Wall,” “Death Wish,” “The Knife” and the title track also entered the chart.
Written and produced by Gracie Abrams alongside longtime collaborator Aaron Dessner, Daughter from Hell explores the uncertainty, personal growth and emotional turbulence that can define life in one’s twenties. The album arrived two years after The Secret of Us, continuing a period of growing commercial success for the singer-songwriter.
Following her SNL appearance, Abrams will prepare to take the new material on the road with The Look at My Life Tour. Promoted by Live Nation, the 64-date run is scheduled to begin December 2 in Denver, Colorado, with North American dates presented by Capital One before the tour moves to Europe in April, starting in Paris.
